A short reflection and prayer for this month
January
“Commit thy works unto the Lord,
and thy thoughts shall be established.”
Proverbs 16:3
January often steps in with a blast of excitement, expectation and sometimes even a hint of regret. We find ourselves looking back on the previous year at what was left undone, and forward to the coming year to what might be.
But before we rush into resolutions or plans, we will do well if we take a moment to pause, placing every hope and fear into the hands of The One who knows the road ahead.
Strength for new paths does not begin with a to-do list. It often begins with surrender.
When Christ is our compass, even uncertain ground becomes holy; When we depend on His strength, our striving finds rest; When He directs our steps, our plans find purpose, and when we walk in His will, even small beginnings carry eternal weight.
Lord of new beginnings,
as we step into a new year,
teach us to walk by faith, not fear.
Help us to commit our plans to You,
to trust Your timing, and to rest in Your wisdom.
Remind us that You go before us
and that every step with You leads toward life.
Guide every thought, renew every purpose,
and fill each day with the quiet strength
that comes from walking with You.

We gather each week to worship, pray and share in Holy Communion. Whether it is your first visit or your faith runs deep, our services are open to all who seek the presence of God.
Sunday School
A place where faith begins to grow. Our Sunday School creates a safe, fun and faith-filled space for children to explore the stories of the bible, learn about Jesus, and grow in God's love.
