Mothers' Union

The Mothers’ Union is a worldwide charitable Christian organisation - with over 4 million members, and strives to support families, strengthen communities and share the love of Jesus Christ through practical action and prayer.

Its mission is dedicated to empowering individuals, strengthening families and transforming lives. All of the members share one heartfelt vision - to bring about a world where God's love is shown through loving, respectful and flourishing relationships.

Here at St Michael the Archangel Church, the Mothers’ Union branch group meet regularly for prayer, fellowship, mutual support, and to uphold the vision of promoting stable family life, both locally and globally.  These meetings provide a gentle connection where wisdom, experience and faith meet over conversation and prayer. Our members are actively involved in advocacy, campaigning and fundraising, as well as encouraging and supporting national and local level initiatives.

You do not have to be a mother to join - young/old, single/married/divorced, male/female - Mothers’ Union is open to everyone. All we ask is that you have a desire in supporting family life and a willingness to make a difference in the lives of others.

We thank you for

your love so freely given to us all.

We pray for families around the world.

encouragement, strengthening and support of marriage and family life.

Empowered by your Spirit,

may we be united in prayer and worship,
