Social Club & Cultural Events
Building friendships and sharing joy.
Social Club
The social club is a great way for church members and also the local community, to engage in fellowship, meet old friends and make new ones. The social club welcomes new members regardless of faith, and strongly promotes health awareness and keep-fit.
The Social Club meets on Wednesdays between 12:00pm and 4:00pm in the church hall. It is open to adults of all ages and arranges a variety of trips and days-out during the year. Table top games and activities are also available.
Snacks and refreshments are provided each week, and the club members enjoy a fellowship lunch once a month.
Membership is open to everyone.
For all new members, there is a £5.00 registration fee, and then a nominal weekly charge of £2.00, to cover expenses.
Cultural Events
At St Michael the Archangel Church, we celebrate not only faith, but also fellowship, creativity and community.
Throughout the year, we host a range of cultural events that bring people together in heart-warming and meaningful ways.
Our calendar often includes:
- Special services, that reflect our shared heritage, local traditions, or significant moments in the life of the community.
- Dinner & Dance evenings, offering a chance to enjoy good food, music, and happy connections in a relaxed setting.
- Health & Wellbeing talks, demonstrations, and celebrations, inviting everyone to experience the rich life of the church beyond Sunday worship.
